Five Falcons Named Academic All-MAC
Cody Basler, Craig Rutherford and Jimmy Scheidler (BCHS alumnus), members of the Bowling Green State University football team, were named to the Mid-American Conference Academic Team for 2009, announced by the league office this afternoon (Jan. 12). Zach Akenberger and Nick Iovinalli were named honorable mention... Scheidler, who earned second-team All-MAC this past season, finished the year with 27 catches for 320 yards and one touchdown. His lone score came in the Humanitarian Bowl versus Idaho. Scheidler holds a 3.50 GPA while majoring in business pre-law. ...From Bowling Green Sports This is the second straight year that Jimmy was named to the academic team. He has also been invited to participate in the upcoming NFL Pro Football Combine this Spring. Congratulations Jimmy! |
