Bishop Chatard High School basketball player Cathy Doyle has orally committed to Illinois State University, according to coach Bill Silvey.

Doyle, who was named to The Indianapolis Star's All-City team and will play for the Junior All-Stars, averaged a team-high 16.3 points and 7.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.6 steals per game for the Trojans. She also had offers from Austin Peay and Eastern Kentucky and had a recruiting visit scheduled with Missouri. She will play for first-year coach Stephanie Glance, who takes over a team that went 28-8 last year.
