Bishop Chatard senior offensive lineman Nick Martin has committed to the University of Kentucky, Chatard coach Vince Lorenzano said.

The 6-5, 260-pound Martin picked the Wildcats over two dozen over Division I offers. He also considered Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State and Northwestern among his finalists.

"We always knew that Kentucky was one of his favorites,. Lorenzano said. 'His family is originally from there and he still has family there, so Kentucky had some pull".
