Trojans take care of business

Whiteland, Ind. -- After surgically taking apart Whiteland 30-0 on Friday night, players for Class 3A top-ranked Bishop Chatard walked to a chain link fence behind their bench to meet with family members.

Even after such a thorough win over a Class 5A program, the mood was far from giddy. It was simply Step No. 2 in a voyage the Trojans plan on culminating with a championship at Lucas Oil Stadium in November.

"We're working each game to get better for that state championship," senior linebacker Kenny LaRose said. "This is just the second game on the way there. That's what we're thinking about."
