Dan Kinghorn's team finished tied for fourth with Southport last year, scoring 26 points in the state finals. Bishop Chatard lost a lot of talented seniors as Todd Leone and Chris Dietrick finished fourth and fifth, respectively, in the 800 meters and, with classmate Seth Ball, led a 3,200-meter relay team that won the state title.

Returning is Andrew Poore, the fourth member of the 3,200-meter relay team and the fifth-place finisher in the 3,200 meters, along with 15 other seniors and a strong junior class.
