Diploma Requirements 2010-2011
To receive a diploma from Bishop Chatard, a student is required to: 1) complete a total of 8 semesters in high school, 2) complete all the requirements of the Christian service program including service projects and senior service essay, 3) pass the Core 40 assessments, 4) pass the Indiana ISTEP Graduation Qualifying Exam (GQE) and 5) successfully complete all of the required courses in one of the following courses of study plus the required religion courses:

Beginning with the Class of 2012, all students must pass the End of Course Assessments (ECA) in Algebra I and English 10.

1Research papers
All juniors and seniors are required to write a research paper in their respective English classes. Students must complete the research paper in order to earn a passing grade for the semester in which the paper is to be submitted.

2For Science, Math, and World Language, a student who fails the first semester but has a second semester average of C or higher will receive credit for both semesters (2 credits).
