Placement Test Scholarships
Renewable scholarships are offered to students based on their Placement Test Scores. The awards are as follows:
-
The St. Francis Xavier Award, named for the patron saint of the Archdiocese, is a $200 annually renewable scholarship presented to those students scoring between 90 and 94% on the placement exam.
-
The St. Benedict Award is named for the patron saint of the Sisters of St. Benedict, who continue to bless our school with their teaching and administrative talents. This $300 annually renewable scholarship is presented to those students who score between 95 and 98% on the placement exam.
-
The Mary Queen of Heaven Award, named for the patroness of Bishop Chatard High School, is a $500 annually renewable scholarship presented to students who score in the 99th percentile of the placement exam.
President's Award
The Bishop Chatard High School President's Award is the highest honor given to an incoming freshman. The principals from each of our North Deanery grade schools select two eighth grade students who most exemplify the mission of Bishop Chatard: a commitment to faith, learning, leadership and service.
As part of Bishop Chatard's recognition of these recipients, a one-time $500 tuition award is given.
