Directions to Indiana High Schools

Sports Physicals Night: May 29

Sports physicals for the 2012-13 school year will be held at BCHS on Tues, May 29 from 6:00PM-8:00PM in the varsity gym. The physicals are given by St. Vincent Performance. Cost is $20. See Physicals for complete details. Bring your 5 completed and signed physical forms with you. Grade School students are welcome to receive CYO physicals also.

Cathedral/Chatard Rugby Team Wins Nationals!

Congratulations to the Cathedral/Chatard Rugby Team as they won the National Championship in Utah. More details to follow!

Ryan Baker Football Camp: July 13

All 4th-8th Graders are invited to the Ryan Baker Football Camp on July 13 at Park Tudor School. This free camp is conducted by Ryan, BCHS Class of '04, currently a defensive lineman for the Miami Dolphins. Register today at www.ryanbakerfoundation.org. View a flyer with more details. Hurry! Boys & Girls Lacrosse raffle Colts Season Tickets

The BCHS Boys and Girls Lacrosse teams are selling raffle tickets to win 4 season tickets to the 2012/2013 Colts games. The raffle tickets are $10 each. If you are interested in buying one (or more) and testing your "Luck", see any Boy or Girl lacrosse player! Raffle ticket sales end July 31.

Boy's Lacrosse players earn honors

Bishop Chatard Boys Lacrosse is proud to announce the following All-State awards: Max Groves: All State 2nd team Defense; All-State honorable mention: Attack- Dustin Rhodes, Face Off Specialist- Justin Bennett, Long Stick Middie- Daniel Sahm, Midfield- Emery Rust, and Defense- Spencer Lich. Congratulations Trojans and thanks for a great season!

Boys Track in Sectionals

Congratulations to Zach Metzger (Pole Vault) and the 4 x 400 relay of Jack Busald, Nick Siderys, Brent Kelly Hooks and Marco Burkert for advancing to the regional meet. The team also had strong performances from Kenny Kirschner, Jackson Naylor Cook, Max Van Vliet, Chip Ursery, Matt Hurrle and Marlin Bunnell.

Girls Track Team in Sectionals

Congratulations to the Girls track and field team for an outstanding performance at sectionals on May 15. The team had 3 Sectional Champions: Sophie Meier (Long Jump), Mary Davis (800 meters) and the 4 x 800 relay of Arden Burch, Stephanie Barnes, Emily Lux and Mary Davis. The team also had outstanding performances from Maggie Bell (400 meters), Erin Crone (1600 meters), Heather OâBrien and Emily Lux (3200 meters) and the 4 x 400 relay of Stephanie Barnes, Sophie Meier, Mary Davis and Maggie Bell (4 x 400) who qualified for the regional meet.

Golfer to compete in pro golf tourney

Congratulations to the following players of the BCHS Girls Lacrosse team who have been named as IHSLWA All-Regional players: Courtney Wheelock, Shelby Barron, Ellen Treesh and Grace Horrall.

Summer Conditioning Schedules

Spirit Shoppe End-Of-The-Year Sale - Special Sale Night: May 23, 5-7pm

The BCHS Spirit Shoppe will have its annual end-of-the-school-year sale through June. Come in and pick out your favorite item or grab that graduation gift for incoming BCHS students -come early for best selection. Sale is Buy-One Item, get the second item of equal or less value for 1/2-OFF. If you spend $100, you will receive a free t-shirt or other item from our Customer Appreciation Bin. Special Sale Evening: Wednesday, May 23 from 5-7pm! Spirit Shoppe is open during lunch hours or contact Athletic Office for times during school day.

Summer Sports Camp Schedules are available

Summer camp schedules and registration forms for grade school and incoming freshmen camps are now available. See the Camps link above left for details.

Mary Davis is named 2012 Female City Athlete of the Year

Congratulations to senior Mary Davis. She was named the 2012 Female City Athlete of the Year by the Marion County Coaches of Girls Sports Association. Mary runs track and cross-country at BCHS. She will be attending Miami of Ohio, where she will continue her running career.

St. Vincent's Sports Performance offers Summer Training Sessions

These training sessions work on speed/agility and strength while developing confidence and work capacity. Registration is now open. Each session in this St. Vincent's program costs $18, with a minimum of 24 sessions throughout the summer. See Details and Registration for more information.

Scott Mourey was recently named to the All-GLVC first team as a designated hitter. Scott plays at the University of Indianapolis.

NCAA Eligibility Center

Any student who plans to play sports in college should visit the NCAA Eligibility Center to sign up and begin the required academic verification process. Visit www.eligibilitycenter.org to get started. It is recommended that this process be initiated by the summer prior to senior year.
