Ticket Information: Cathedral and Cincinnati Elder Football Games
vs Cathedral: On Sept. 10 at 7pm, BCHS is hosting Varsity Football vs Cathedral at Broad Ripple High School. Everyone will need a ticket, including students, staff and Booster Club members -- no passes will be accepted for this game. Presale tickets are available now in the Athletic Office or in the Spirit Shoppe during lunch periods. Presale tickets are $5; tickets at gate are $7, with guaranteed long lines. Come early and join the excitement as a BCHS Tailgater!
vs Cincinnati Elder: The Trojans are playing Cincinnati Elder in Cincinnati on Sept. 17 at 7 pm. Presale tickets are available in the Athletic Office or Sprit Shoppe now for $5. This event is SOLD OUT so tickets are NOT available at the gate. BCHS has the only remaining tickets. Tickets are reserved seating, so please plan accordingly.
Fan Bus To Cincinnati Elder Football Game: Sept 17
A very generous Trojan Fan has offered to underwrite one (maybe two) BCHS student 'Fan Buses' to the Sept. 17 Football game in Cincinnati. Reserve your spot on the bus today by submitting this permission form (signed), and a refundable deposit of $10 to the Athletic Office. The bus leaves at 4:15pm sharp from BCHS. Permission forms are also available in the Athletic office. Don't delay!
Boys and Girls Cross Country teams both win with a perfect score
Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Cross Country teams, as they both placed first at Crispus Attucks on Sept 7. The top five runners for the boys meet were: Will Soffera(1st), Joel Burch, Pat Ciresi, Andy Barnett, and Jackson Naylor-Cook; for the girls: Kara Sobolewski(1st), Rachel Ward, Laura Oldiges, Stephanie Barnes, and Paige Powers.

The girls Class 3A No. 4 Varsity Volleyball team defeated Class 4A No. 10 Cathedral in 4 games: 25-19, 25-20, 22-25, 25-16. Read the full story on the right from 'Sports Chronicle'. The JV Football team posted a great team win over Cathedral, 3-0. The JV and Varsity tennis teams both fell to Cathedral, 0-5. The Girls Soccer teams split games with Plainfield; the JV lost 1-2, the Varsity won 2-1. Girls golf placed 2nd in play against Ritter and Broad Ripple.
Powder Puff Football: Oct. 5
Bishop Chatard's always popular Powder Puff Football game will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 5, at 8pm during Homecoming Week. A tailgate will be held prior to kickoff. Come out to Tabernacle Presbyterian Church (418 E. 34th St.) and see how the Trojan girls play the game!

Girls & Parents Basketball Meeting: Sept 12
All girls and their parents are invited to a brief meeting on Sunday, Sept. 12, 7-7:30p in the Cafeteria. Preseason conditioning, tryouts and the plans for the season will be discussed. Preseason conditioning will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 14 and runs every Tuesday & Thrusday until the beginning of practices. Echocardiograms offered for student athletes: Aug 31, Oct 19
St.Vincent Heart Center of Indiana is offering $20 echocardiograms for student athletes. The tests will be given at The Care Group at St.Vincent Heart Center of Indiana, 10590 N. Meridian St., 3rd Floor, Indy. Register for the screening by calling 338-CARE (2273). Flyer with details

NCAA Eligibility Center
Any student who plans to play sports in college should visit the NCAA Eligibility Center to sign up and begin the required academic verification process. Visit www.eligibilitycenter.org to get started. It is recommended that this process be initiated by the summer prior to senior year.
