Canned Food Drive
Each year, BCHS students' donations of canned food stock the shelves of many local charities throughout the city. Because the need is great, our goal this year is 35,000 cans!
Non-perishable food items can be brought in between Tues, Nov. 15 to Tues, Nov. 22. View the list of suggested canned food donations for each class, the organizations they will be donated to, extra-credit offered and drop-off directions.
Door-to-door Neighborhood Food Drive, Nov. 14, 21 Parent Volunteers needed!
BCHS will also be running a neighborhood canned food drive (in the neighborhoods surrounding BCHS) on Mon, Nov. 14 and Mon, Nov. 21. On the 14th, students will distribute bags with a note attached informing households that in a week we will return and we hope that the bag can be filled with canned goods. On the next Monday, Nov. 21, students will go back to pick up the bags. We need a lot of help to make both of these huge events successful! Contact Tyler Mayer, tmayer@bishopchatard.org, if you would like to help with this drive.
Collecting: Hats, scarves, blankets, socks & gloves
We are also accepting donations of hats, scarves, blankdets, socks and gloves for the Thanksgiving Meal and during the Food Drive. Bring these donations in the Campus Ministry offices.
