Notes
-
The coordination of the service program will be handled through the Religion classroom.
-
The service requirements will be treated as a grade, and the requirements will be due during certain parts of the year. If a student does not complete their service requirement, it will be treated as a zero. However, the student will still need to make up the service requirement missed as part of the special service group during the fourth quarter. Failure to complete the service requirements in the special service group will result in the student being placed on probation for the following school year. If the student is a senior and does not complete his/her service
requirement, the principal will determine eligibility for graduation and/or participation in
commencement activities.
-
Summer Service: Students may begin or complete their service project during the summer, and are encouraged to
do so. Students will need to turn completed service forms from summer service hours in the first
quarter to be considered valid. These will be turned in to the student's Religion teacher.
