Academic Programs
Bishop Chatard High School operates on a flexible schedule which incorporates a traditional seven period day into 60 minute blocks of time with four class periods per week. Its primary focus is on a college preparatory course of studies. An extensive Advanced Placement and honors program is available as well as general level courses and academic support for students with special needs. The newly implemented Summa Cum Laude Program is one of only three such programs in the country.

In addition to required courses, each student must complete the requirements of the Christian Service Program and pass the Indiana ISTEP Graduation Qualifying Exam (GQE).
