Financial Aid at Bishop Chatard

The school has a limited amount of financial aid that is granted on a need basis as determined through an independent service (Private School Aid Service) and a financial aid committee.

A Financial Aid Information Night is held by the director of business operations in the fall to present information about the financial aid process. This year, for your convenience, the night will be offered twice, on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 and Wednesday, November 30, 2011 both from 7-8pm in the cafeteria.

This year, the Financial Aid Application is due December 16, 2011. (Your 2010 income tax returns will need to be submitted along with the application.)

Emergency Assistance

Once the school year has begun, a family may experience the loss of a job or a catastrophic illness that makes it impossible to sustain payments as they were established. In order to prevent the withdrawal of a student(s) from the school for that year, parents can contact the business office for more information about emergency assistance. This funding resource is intended to provide assistance for the current school year only, and should the circumstances extend beyond that year, parents must apply for financial aid through the regular process.
