Placement Test Scholarships
Renewable scholarships are offered to students based on their Placement Test Scores. The awards are as follows:

The St. Francis Xavier Award, named for the patron saint of the Archdiocese, is a $200 annually renewable scholarship presented to those students scoring between 90 and 94% on the placement exam.

The St. Benedict Award is named for the patron saint of the Sisters of St. Benedict, who continue to bless our school with their teaching and administrative talents. This $300 annually renewable scholarship is presented to those students who score between 95 and 98% on the placement exam.

The Mary Queen of Heaven Award, named for the patroness of Bishop Chatard High School, is a $500 annually renewable scholarship presented to students who score in the 99th percentile of the placement exam.

Bishop Chatard offers a one-time tuition award in recognition of student achievement to two students from each of the following schools:

Saint Matthew

Saint Pius X

Selection of the two recipients is made by the principal of the elementary school and is based primarily on academic achievement. However, achievements in leadership and service are also important criteria in the selection. In addition, Bishop Chatard will give an additional tuition award to the two students with the highest placement test scores of all the President's Award recipients. This award is a one year award.

must be submitted to your grade school principal no later than April 15, 2011.
