Bishop Chatard Fundraising Policy
Application for Fundraising Approval
In an effort to organize the fund-raising process within Bishop
Chatard, the school development office is creating a Fund-Raising
Calendar for the 2010 - 2011 school year.
In order to accomplish this
task, every person who is responsible for fund-raising projects for
groups, sports or activities pertaining to Bishop Chatard High School is
asked to fill out the BCHS Fund-Raising Form for each fund-raiser
planned.
This form should be submitted to the appropriate director
(listed on the form) for approval. Final approval of all requests will
be by BCHS President Bill Sahm. The deadline to submit fund-raising
request forms for the 2010-2011 school year is July 30, 2010.
The school is aware that there may be requests that occur after this
date and into the 2010-2011 school year, and those requests will be
considered. However, submission after this date is subject to denial.
The goal of this policy is to have teams, clubs and activity groups
think about their long-range needs as well as avoid coinciding
fund-raising efforts with another group. No fund-raiser is too small to
submit. An approved fund-raising calendar will then be made available.
