Protect and Preserve is a local established interior/exterior painting company in Broad Ripple expanding our fast growing business. No prior experience is necessary; on-the-job training will be provided and paid. Main requirement is that you are teachable and take direction well with a good attitude. IUPUI Summer Workshops

Registration Deadline: May 25, 2012

Indiana University - School of Nursing Program

Washington University in St. Louis - Earn Credit at Summer Experience 2012

Date: Session A is June 10-July 14, Session B is July 15-August 17.

Washington University's high school summer programs provide academically talented high school students who have completed their sophomore or junior year with the chance to try out college and earn college credit. Eligibility: Be a current sophomore or junior, have a B+ average or better, have one of the following: combined SAT score of at least 1800, combined PSAT of 180, or an ACT or PLAN composite score of at least 25. Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine - Boiler Vet Camp

For those excited by science, who enjoy working with animals and would like to find out more about what it takes to become a veterinarian or veterinary technician, this program is just the ticket! Xavier University - Summer Program for Class of 2013

IU Kelley School of Business - Junior Executive Institute (JEI)

The JEI is a free summer program for rising juniors and seniors from African-American, Latino, and American Indian backgrounds who are or might be interested in the business field to experience a week at IU.s Kelley School of Business. Interested students must have a 3.0 GPA, submit an application (available online in February at www.kelley.iu.edu/ugrad/precollege/jei.cfm), an official high school transcript, an essay (no more than 250 words) describing the student.s dream business and steps they would take to implement this business, and one letter of recommendation from a high school counselor, or member of the clergy. Ball State University - Summer Scholars Program

Summer Scholars is an academic-intensive, residential program for bright, curious, and creative students. There are 3 week-long sessions being offered, June 17-22, July 8-13, and July 15-20. Eligibility requirements: Open to students who will be a sophomore, junior, or senior in the Fall of 2012 who are African American, Latino, Native American, or a 21st Century Scholar, with a minimum 3.0 GPA. University of Dayton - Summer Honors Camp

Open to honor high school Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors. Explore engineering through hands-on activities in chemical, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering. Kettering University - LITE Summer Camp

LITE is a two-week residential program created to introduce 11th grade girls to what engineers do and how they significantly improve people.s lives by applying math, science, and technology to human problems. Participants will live in a residence hall during the program. Requirements: Female students who have completed the 11th grade by July 1, 2012 and have a 3.0 or higher GPA. The University of British Columbia - Summer Scholars Program

IU Kelley School of Business - Young Women's Institute (YWI)

Date: July 15-20, July 22-27. Apply by May 5

Free summer program for women completing their junior year in the spring of 2012, and have an interest in business. When: One, week long session held July 15-20 or July 22-27. The application is available from February 15 . May 5. There is a selective admission process based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, essay responses, and a letter of recommendation. A minimum of a 3.5 GPA is required at time of submission. There is no cost to attend the program, but students must receive a nomination. IU Department of Biology . Jim Holland Summer Enrichment Program (SEP)

Date: July 22-27, Apply by March 16th

This program is an opportunity for minority students to develop their interest in science, particularly those pursuing science-related careers. The SEP focuses on minority students currently in the 8th, 9th, and 10th grades (entering 9th, 10th, and 11th grade in Fall 2012). This is a week-long academic program on July 22-27. The application deadline is March 16th and selections are made the week of March 19th. University of Notre Dame - Pre-College Program

Rising juniors and seniors can attend a Pre-College Program at the University of Notre Dame allowing them to experience the life of a Notre Dame student. The program is a one- to two-week experience offering the following academic tracks: acting, archaeology, China.s transformation, Dante.s Inferno, The Brothers Karamazov, entrepreneurship, film, life science, literature, policy debate and public speaking, pre-law, psychology, theology, and voice. University of Dayton - Women in Engineering Summer Camp

This is a unique, informative, and rewarding camp open to girls who as of summer 2012 are rising sophomores, juniors, seniors, or who have just graduated from high school.
