
Bishop Chatard launches $4.5 million fundraising drive to coincide with 50th anniversary

Bishop Chatard High School has more than one major reason to hold a landmark celebration on Sept. 13.
On the same date 50 years ago, the Catholic high school on Indianapolis' Northside opened its doors to its first class of 236 students.
But, on this Sept. 13, the school will not only hold an anniversary celebration in the school's gymnasium but also launch at the event the public portion of its biggest fundraising campaign ever -- one with a goal of $4.5 million.
