UPCOMING EVENTS FEBRUARY 17 - FEBRUARY 24

Parents of seniors are reminded to send in a yearbook "Congratulations" ad for their by Tuesday, February 21. The deadline has been extended by one day as there is no school Monday, Feb. 20. If you need a form, you can find it on the Parents tab of the school website. If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Tracy Luke, publications adviser at tluke@bishopchatard.org.

Monday 2.20.12

In honor of President's day, we will not be in school on Monday! Enjoy the three-day weekend.

Tuesday 2.21.12

On Tuesday we will be operating on a Monday schedule, i.e. the school day will begin until 8:40 A.M. Also on Monday we will be having an all school assembly beginning at 2 P.M. A sports nutritionist will be speaking to the students about the importance of eating healthy.

Wednesday 2.22.12

Wednesday is Ash Wednesday. Our liturgy will begin at 9:45 A.M. in the main gymnasium. All in the community are welcome to attend!

Friday 2.24.12

On Friday we will be having a jeans day to raise money for the El Salvador trip over Spring Break. Students may wear jeans or sweatpants for $2 (No yoga pants or leggings please).

Text-N-Connect: North Deanery Lenten Series

The North Deanery Parishes are sponsoring a Lenten Series for our youth. Two of our own, Mr. Tyler Mayer and Sister Kathleen Yeadon, will be presenting during this series. Please see the attached flyer for more details.

Other Chatard-A-Bration Info

• We are looking for parent volunteers for check-in help. This shift would run from 5 to 8.
• We are also looking for parent volunteers to help with auction check-out. This shift would run from 8:30pm to 11:30pm.
• The Chatard-A-Bration decoration committee is looking for stop sign lights, checkered pennants, flags and racing banners. Please drop off any items you are willing to lend for the event dér. Please clearly label your items and drop off in the SBC.
• The committee is also gearing up to decorate and transform the main gym, we will begin Friday morning beginning at 9am. We will be busy all day/evening please know anytime you can spare is appreciated; the more the merrier!! It takes a village!!

Achievement Awards Nominations

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2012 Bishop Chatard Achievement Awards. The BCHS Achievement Awards celebrate the human spirit and support that surround and bless the Archdiocese of Indianapolis North Deanery High School. Each year we celebrate an alumni, parent, teacher/faculty/administrator and community leader.

Presented annually, recipients who epitomize the mission and values of Bishop Chatard are nominated by the BCHS community.

Attention Senior Families

Bishop Chatard will celebrate Senior Grandparent Mass at 11am on April 12th. All seniors are encouraged to invite their grandparents to this special day. Please submit your grandparent contact information here and BCHS will mail formal invitations to them.
