Dress Code for Graduation
Caps and Gowns
The graduation gowns are made especially for Bishop Chatard. Please follow the instructions for preparation of the gown when the student brings it home. Seniors are responsible for the reasonable care and return of the cap and gown.
After Commencment, the gowns will be collected in the Auxiliary gymnasium, with time allowed for the graduate to take photos with family and friends.
There is a $250 charge for any gown that is not returned after the ceremony.
Graduates wear their gowns (no caps) to the Baccalaureate; caps, with tassel, and gowns are worn for Commencement.
