Summer Work Study

Work study will look different this year. We are looking for signups for potential upcoming special projects in order to get school ready. If we decide to use students, we will observe all mask & social distancing measures. At this point, we are just looking to see which students might be available to help in the coming weeks.

Please fill out the Work Study Survey, if you are interested. This is open to all students, but preferences will be given to students receiving financial aid.

Bishop Chatard Summer Math Academy is a two week intensive course taught by high school math teachers. The designed purpose of this academy is to prepare students for success in high school level math by working on foundational mathematical elements essential to Algebra 1. Cost is $50/student.
The Math Academy has been postponed until closer to the time when we are able to resume in person learning. Those already registered will be contacted as details are finalized.
For questions and registration, contact Ann Taylor (Vice Principal of Academics); 317.251.1451 ext. 2244.

Our traditional Freshman orientation, scheduled for June 6, has been postponed. We’re working on a new format to respect social distancing, as needed. Look for information about an online trivia event as well as a virtual scavenger hunt, both events providing an opportunity for students to meet and interact with each other prior to the beginning of their high school career.

Mentors from the new Senior Class will also be contacting incoming Freshmen via Google Meet or Zoom as part of orientation.

Freshman Parent Orientation Part 1 included a zoom meeting, held in sessions from May 9 – May 20. If you missed this meeting, please contact Marilynn Fagan, at for details.
