Grade School Theatre Workshop: Nov. 12

Join Bishop Chatard theatre students and BCHS Director, Bri Lindsey, for a “Creating a Superhero” Character Workshop.

The workshop will be held on Monday, November 12, 2019, from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. at BCHS. It is open to all 5th – 8th grade students. There is no charge — Creativity is the price of admission!

Students will create an original superhero, draw a costume, and create a voice and movement for the character, with all of the heroes meeting at the end for a superhero improvisation. Students will delve into how an actor creates a character using improv, physicality, script analysis and pure imagination. Middle school students will learn from high school actors how to make a character become real on stage.
