Two inducted to the Indiana Football Hall of Fame

Congratulations to retired Bishop Chatard Football Coach Vince Lorenzano, who was inducted to the Indiana Coaches Football Hall of Fame on July 10, 2021.

Coach Lorenzano served as head football coach at Bishop Chatard for 14 years, from the 2003 through the 2016 football season. During that time, the Trojan football team won seven Indiana state championships, taking home the trophy in 2003, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2015. During his tenure, the team also accrued a number of sectional, regional and state-runner up titles.

Lorenzano began his coaching career at Scecina Memorial High School in 1983. He held various assistant and head coach positions at Cathedral, Cardinal Ritter and Mississinewa high schools before coming to BCHS. He retired from coaching in December 2016, and continues to serve at Bishop Chatard as an administrator.

DuJuan Daniels, Class of 1998
Congratulations to DuJuan Daniels, BCHS Class of 1998, who was also inducted to the Indiana Football Hall of Fame. DuJuan was the 1997 Mr. Football at Bishop Chatard and a former player at Boston College. He went on to spend 13 seasons in the New England Patriots Scouting Department and is currently working for the Las Vegas Raiders.
