Speech Team Assistant

Troy Cockrum, BCHS Speech Team Coordinator, is looking for a speech team assistant. The season runs early October to early March. The assistant will need to be able to attend practices twice a week after school. Attendance at the Saturday meets is not required of the assistant, but is helpful. There will be 1-2 meets per month in Indianapolis or surrounding communities during the season, finishing with the State Tournament in early March. Coordinator of Special Events & Alumni Relations

BCHS is currently accepting applications for the position of Coordinator of Special Events and Alumni Relations. This is a full time position.

The coordinator of special events and alumni relations advances the mission of the school through developing relationships with all alumni and facilitating the production of all special events. As a collaborative member of the BCHS advancement team, this individual will be responsible for the organization, implementation and execution of all appropriate logistics for Bishop Chatard fundraising and alumni-related events, including the Annual Fund dinner and Chatard-a-Bration. The coordinator, in collaboration with the advancement team, will be responsible for the organization, implementation and execution of the school’s alumni program, including but not limited to, working with the high school’s alumni board, basketball league, class reunion chairs and submitting information for the institution’s monthly alumni newsletter.

Desired Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a college degree, be a practicing Catholic, have at least three years of experience working with alumni and/or special events, be an alumnus/alumna of Bishop Chatard, be proficient in basic Mac software platforms, possess outstanding relationship building and communication skills, and have experience in database management.

Head Varsity Boys Volleyball Coach

Bishop Chatard HS is accepting applications for its Head Coach of Boys Varsity Volleyball. The squad plays some of the best Volleyball programs in the state of Indiana & has a tremendous group of student-athletes that are excited about the sport.
The ideal coaching candidate should have varsity level coaching experience, at least an undergraduate bachelor’s degree, & the ability to positively motivate/direct our student-athletes.
