Our school operates on a rotating seven-period per day schedule. The rotation allows students to attend an individual class at different times of the day. Each class is 60 minutes. Tuesday through Friday, teachers are available in their classrooms from 7:20 – 7:50 a.m. to help students individually.
Daily seminar periods (from 11:05-11:35) offer opportunities for extra activities (Seminar A: Mass & Career/College Speakers; Seminar B: Academic Work; Seminar C: Club Meetings).

- Bishop Chatard is open to students by 7:00 a.m. each day.
- Tuesday-Friday the first bell rings at 7:45; class begins at 7:50 a.m.
- Monday the first bell rings at 8:50; class begins at 8:55 a.m.
- Breakfast is served in the cafeteria 30 minutes before the first bell
- Monday-Thursday school ends at 3:15 p.m. On Friday school is dismissed at 2:10 p.m.
- Before School Starts: Tuesday through Friday (not Monday) from 7:20-7:50 a.m. All teachers are in their classrooms and available to help students.
- BCHS provides supervision of students in the library until 4:30 p.m. each day. A licensed teacher is available in the library for academic support.
- Students are not allowed in the hallways or gymnasiums, M-Th after 3:30 p.m. and on Friday after 2:30 p.m.
