Welcome to Academics & School Counseling

Bishop Chatard offers nearly 50 diverse honors, Advanced Placement and Dual Credit courses to challenge students. The school’s Academic Support Program guides students who need additional assistance to achieve their full potential in an inclusive school environment. 61 percent of the Class of 2023 were awarded Academic Honors Diplomas. 97 percent of the seniors continued to post-graduate education. 86 percent graduated with college credits – an average 13.94 college credits earned, demonstrating that Bishop Chatard students are not just college ready, they are ready to succeed.
With academic excellence as our goal in the classroom, we maintain a culture focused on faith formation and service leadership that permeates everything we do in a purposeful and structured manner. Faith is not only something we study in Theology class; it defines us.
