Financial Aid Overview
Our Philosophy
Bishop Chatard is an open-enrollment school committed to the Catholic mission of providing education to as many students as resources allow. All students, because they are made in the image and likeness of God, have infinite value and deserve a Bishop Chatard education. While all Bishop Chatard families will pay some level of tuition, we are committed to working with any family who desires a Catholic education for their children. During the 2018-2019 school year, over 46 percent of our students received some form of financial aid. All financial aid available at BCHS is based on need as determined by an independent service or criteria set by the state or granting organization.BCHS families have access to the following forms of financial assistance:
- Financial aid provided by Bishop Chatard financial aid funds
- Indiana Choice Scholarships (commonly known as 'vouchers')
- Tax Credit Scholarships via the Institute for Quality Education, Inc. (often referred to as SGOs - Scholarship Granting Organizations)
- BCHS Need-Based Tuition Assistance Grants
Financial aid applications for incoming freshmen for the 2020-2021 school year are due by December 9, 2019.
