Trobotics Team in 2021 World Championship

For the first time in school history, Bishop Chatard Trobotics students are competing in the 2021 VEX Robotics World Championship.

Competition for the Live Remote VEX Robotics World Championship included over 225 teams from around the world participating in livestream competitions, via the REC Foundation’s Live Remote Tournament interface.

BCHS team members include Senior Renee Jessee, programmer; Juniors Sam Bush, builder and driver, and James Haas, consultant; and Trobotics advisor Mr. Gary Pritts.

BCHS was one of 19 teams competing in the Technology A Division.

After the first day of qualifiers, BCHS was leading in their division and third overall. BCHS team is 5690W.

Over three days of the competition, the team went 4-2-1 in qualifiers. They finished in the quarterfinals of the elimination tournament.
