BCHS senior Patrick Countryman received the Kiwanis Colts Academic MVP Scholarship at the Kiwanis International’s 65th Annual Marion County High School Football Awards held on December 3, 2021. According to Trojan Football Coach Rob Doyle, this award is based on GPA and citizenship and is the top academic award presented to a football student athlete in Indianapolis.
Patrick, a defensive back and wide receiver on the Trojan football squad, has a GPA of 4.6. This is the second consecutive year that a Bishop Chatard student has won this award.
