On Sunday, June 1, the Bishop Chatard community will honor retiring teacher Richard Powell. Mr. Powell has taught religion to thousands of BCHS students during his 43 years at Bishop Chatard High School, and his wisdom, wit and dedication to his students and the school will be celebrated.
Mass will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the BCHS gymnasium, followed by an open house until 6:30 pm. A formal thank you program will take place during the Mass. All are welcome. (Kindly RSVP to alumni@BishopChatard.org by May 25, 2008).
Via the link above, a message can be sent to Mr. Powell. All messages received will be incorporated into a scrapbook to be presented to Mr. Powell on June 1. Photos may also be submitted by e-mailing scanned copies to alumni@BishopChatard.org.
Gifts received by Bishop Chatard High School in honor of Mr. Powell will be used to sustain the newly created Richard J. Powell Tuition Assistance Endowment Fund. This fund will provide financial assistance for future generations of BCHS Trojans.

Tuition payment option form due May 9
All families with children registered for the 2008-09 academic year must complete and return a tuition Payment Option Form by May 9. Depending on the plan you select or discounts for which you qualify, other forms may be required. See "Business Office" on the left for further information and the Payment Option Form. Seniors: Important Announcement
All seniors are required to register at Indiana Etranscript (Link is found under "Guidance" on the left) for electronic delivery of their final transcript to the college or university of their choice. There is no charge for this service. Seniors, remember that sending your final transcript is the last step in the admission process. Please see Mrs. Wheatley in the Guidance Office if you have any questions.

Book return hours announced; Volunteers needed
Students may turn in their used books for credit in the BCHS bookstore on designated days. (dates and details) Parent and student volunteers are needed on these days to assist with this process.
