New for the 2014/2015 academic year, BCHS will be guided by an administrative team consisting of a principal, in a non-traditional role, and 2 vice-principals who will guide the day-to-day activities that a traditional principal would.
Deacon Rick Wagner will be serving as the Principal, as well retaining the position of Vice-President for Mission and Ministry. Deacon Rick's position is designed to allow him to continue his ministry as a deacon at St. Pius X Parish, as well as his role in mission and ministry here at Bishop Chatard. He will provide direction, mentoring and oversight to the building administrators.
Bishop Chatard will have two vice-principals to split the role of traditional principal. Mrs. Ann Taylor will be the Vice-Principal of Academics. Mr. Ben Reilly will be the Vice-Principal of Student Services. This arrangement provides the Vice-Principals with the ability to focus on their areas of responsibility and the authority required to fulfill the day-to-day responsibilities of a building principal.
