BCHS is excited to share an incredible opportunity for our students: a school pilgrimage along the historic Camino de Santiago in Spain over Fall Break 2026. For centuries, pilgrims have walked this path as a journey of faith, prayer, and personal discovery.
Our students will walk part of the Camino together, deepening their relationship with Christ, building friendships, and experiencing Catholic tradition in a unique and meaningful way. It will be a chance not only to grow spiritually, but also to create memories that will last a lifetime.
Student call out meeting is Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025, after school in the Theater Room. We hope to see you there!
2026 Itinerary
- Oct. 10 (Sat): Depart from Indianapolis
- Oct. 11 (Sun): Train into Sarria, check into hotel
- Oct. 12 (Mon): Sarria to Portomarin
- Oct. 13 (Tues): Portomarin to Palas de Rei
- Oct. 14 (Wed): Palas de Rei to Arzua
- Oct. 15 (Thurs): Arzua to Rua
- Oct. 16 (Fri): Rua to Santiago
- Oct. 17 (Sat): Train to Madrid, fly home
Cost
- Camino Trail Packagee, includes gear transport, lodging, and break/dinner: $650.00 euros
- Airfare: tickets are not yet available, but estimated cost is aroud $800.00
- Total cost: roughly $1,450.00 plus spending money
