Prerequisites: C or higher in Algebra II
Course Description:Pre-Calculus builds on algebraic functions and extends them to new concepts. Conic sections, trigonometry, and polar coordinates will be explored in this course. Emphasis will be on the basic equations, graphs, and theory behind these topics. Trigonometric identities and applications will also be covered. This course will meet the trigonometric requirements for many universities.
