Themes in Literature: Science Fiction is a course based on Indiana’s Academic Standards for English/Language Arts. This course is designed to increase students’ knowledge of the literary genre known as Science Fiction. Emphasis will be on the study of literature—novels and short fiction—that depicts the future world, visionary scientific endeavor, and conflicts between humans, aliens, and sentient technology.
