The BCHS Girls Tennis team breaks another record with their first ever Semi-State victory! In an incredible day of play, the team was tied 2-2 with our 1 doubles team heading into a 3rd set. Aidan Mahaney and Sam Paberzs came through with a third set win to give the Trojans a first ever Semi State win and a trip to the State Finals. Mahaney and Paberzs joined Cathy Beckmann and Maggie Bertram with wins yesterday to secure the victory.
Next they meet Westfield in the first round of state final competition on Friday, June 6, 2025 at noon at North Central.
To earn this honor, they defeated North Central 4-1 in the sectional finals for the first sectional win in 50 years! Next, they won against Warren Central, 4-1, a team they defeated 3-2 in season play. They then defeated Cathedral, 4-1, to become regional champions.
