BCHS celebrates Homecoming 2026 with the theme ‘Dancing Through the Decades’!
September 20 (Sun.): Homecoming Festival — It’s new!
Kicking off the week of Homecoming 2026, Bishop Chatard invites BCHS students, staff and current families to a Homecoming Festival from 5:00-8:00 pm in the BCHS parking lot. Guests can enjoy catering from 317 BBQ, the Kona Ice truck, music, a dunk tank with some very lucky teachers, cornhole, KanJam, and a face-painting station hosted by the Art Club.
September 20 (Sun.): Powderpuff Football Semifinals – Games begin at 7:00 pm
- Game 1: Sophomores vs Juniors
- Game 2: Seniors vs Freshmen
- Admission: $2 Freewill Donation to benefit the Women’s Care Center (students, faculty, and parents are all invited to attend!)
September 21 (Mon.)
- Dress Down Day Theme: ‘The 70s’
September 22 (Tues.)
- Dress Down Day Theme: ‘The 80s’
September 23 (Wed)
- Dress Down Day Theme: ‘The 90s’
- Powderpuff Final Game: Game begins at 8:00 pm.
- Students, faculty, and parents are all invited to attend!
- The Trojan Horse will be serving burgers and dogs starting at 7:15 pm!
September 24 (Thurs)
- Dress Down Theme for SENIORS ONLY: Formal Dress. (Everyone else in uniform!)
- Turf Takeover: Games and music on the baseball turf from 7-9pm. The Kickball game starts at 7:30pm!
September 25 (Fri)
- Dress Down Day Theme: ‘Y2K’
- Pep Session: At the end of the school day
- Homecoming Court Ceremony: On the field at 6:40 pm. Get to the game early to celebrate our Homecoming Court and see who is crowned Homecoming King and Queen!
- Homecoming Football Game vs. Guerin Catholic HS – 7:00 pm
- BCHS welcomes the classes of 1971, 1976, 1986, 2001, 2006, 2011 and 2021 for their class reunions! (View Reunion Details)
September 26 (Sat.): Homecoming Dance
- Dance will be 7:30 – 10:00 pm in the Main Gym. Arrive no later than 8 pm. Students must stay until 9:30 pm.
- Cost is $15/person. Tickets will be on sale at lunch and after school during Homecoming Week.
- Dessert, lemonade and water will be provided.
- If you plan to bring a student from another school, you MUST fill out this form no later than Wednesday, September 16 at 11:59 pm. (Open Form )
