Student Publications earn top state awards

Congratulations to BCHS student journalists, guided by Mrs. Tracy Luke, on earning state-wide honors for their work in the 2018-2019 school year. The student newsmagazine, Trojan Matters, was named the top student newspaper/magazine in the state in their division. The Citadel yearbook was named a Hoosier Star finalist, one of the top four in the state in their division. The-Blueprint.org won first place for online/social media presence. Numerous other honors were awarded.

For the last 11 years, The Citadel yearbook and/or the Trojan Matters newsmagazine (and the Trojan Tribune newspaper before that) have been either in the top spot or in the top four.

Students @BishopChatardHS contributed over 15,000 canned and boxed goods during this year's annual Canned Food Drive to feed those in need. The food was loaded into trucks this morning, destined for 5 Indy-area food pantries. Thank you to all who contributed! pic.twitter.com/EDapChhYdl
