What is the National History Bowl?

The Bowl is a buzzer-based quiz competition against schools from across the United States. The event is typically held in-person (Washington DC and other cities), but was held virtually this year due to COVID-19.

The Bowl is part of International Academic Competitions, a network of competitions across all academic subjects. The History Bowl seeks to give students an appreciation for the past, and the quiz questions reward students who can make connections across eras, places and themes in history.
