On Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026, Venerable Archbishop Fulton Sheen, an American Bishop and media personality, will be Beatified in St. Louis, Missouri at The Dome at America’s Center. This event will mark a historic day for modern American Catholicism and provides an excellent opportunity for pilgrimage and invitation to a life of holiness, after the model of Venerable Fulton Sheen.

- Students will arrive at BCHS at 6:15 am and travel by bus to St. Louis, MO, taking time along the way to learn about the life of Ven. Fulton Sheen.
- During the morning, students will join for pre-Mass festivities, including talks, vendors, and live music.
- Following lunch, students will participate in the Mass for Beatification, celebrated by Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle.
- After Mass, students will return, by bus, to Bishop Chatard High School. Expected return time: 10 pm.
- Before attending, students will be required to pre-arrange their absence from class with their teachers, and the expectation will be that students who attend are back in classes on Fri., Sept. 25.
- Event Cost: $20 (covers travel, entry, and lunch – additional money needed for dinner.
