Bishop Chatard High School is pleased to report that for the eighth consecutive year our school has earned an ‘A’ letter grade from the Indiana Department of Education, 2017-2018 School Accountability Grade.

An accomplishment such as this does not happen by chance. It requires hard work and dedication, and it is dependent upon the foundational work of the North Deanery grade schools, the support of our parent community and our students’ commitment to success in the classroom.

“This ‘A’ letter grade reflects the commitment to excellence that our students, parents, teachers and support staff demonstrate each day,” Principal Joe Hansen said. “This is a spectacular achievement for the entire Bishop Chatard community.”

Bishop Chatard provides young people an environment where academic excellence and faith formation complement one another. Our faculty, staff and administration hold students to a high standard, and we expect no less of ourselves. This designation demonstrates the value of a Bishop Chatard education and our community’s continuing commitment to the pillars of faith, learning, leadership and service.

Our work is not done by any means, but we are proud to be affirmed by the state for our efforts, Mr. Hansen added.

Congratulations to the entire Bishop Chatard community!
