Spare time? Borrow a book from the new Trojan Stacks -- currently located in the Student Life Center and Room 302, with more to come. Grab a book and keep it for as long as you need. Return to any Trojan Stack when you're finished. No sign outs or need to ask. What is Trojan Stacks?
  • Service hours are due April 24: View Requirements and information here
  • Walk-a-Thon is April 24 (Fri): If you have raised $50 or more for Walk-a-Thon, you may dress in Charity Spirit out-of-uniform (no leggings or athletic shorts). Swing by the Main Lobby during Silas to get your wristband so you can be out of uniform!
  • 'The Greatest Spectacle' Prom is April 25: Purchase your ticket by April 24 Info & Ticket Form
  • One Act Plays Auditions - April 21 (Tues): After school in the Theater Room. If you're interested in being a part of these shows, show up! See Mr. Zavaleta for more info.
  • Latinos Unidos Meeting - April 21 (Tues): 8 am in Silas West. See Sra. Arteaga for more info.
  • International Food Club Outing - April 21 (Tues): Meet at 6:45 pm at Door 10. Thank you to all who signed up!
  • Speech Team Meeting - April 22 (Wed): After school in Room 306. This is the end of year meeting for current speech team members! See Ms. Fulton for more info.
  • Early Dismissal - April 23 (Thurs): At 2:15pm. Plan rides accordingly!
  • Senior Grandparent Mass - April 23 (Thurs) - This is a Senior Dress-Up day (View senior dress code). All other students are back in uniform.
  • Flex Schedule - April 23 (Thurs): Following Mass
    • Freshmen: Study Hall
    • Sophomores: May Crowning Rehearsal in the Main Gym
    • Juniors: College Counseling Check-In (in Flex classes)
    • Seniors: Senior Grandparent Brunch
  • Talent Show Rehearsal April 23 (Thurs): After school in the Main Gym. This is mandatory for all acts participating in the Talent Show. Reach out to Mr. Knight or Mr. Zavaleta with any questions or concerns.
  • Hiking Club Outing is April 26 (Sun) Sign up here: Questions? See Ms. O'Brien.
  • St. Augustine Home Prom - May 8 (Fri): Chatard students are partnered with an elderly resident for a "date" for the evening and enjoy a fun night of music, food, entertainment, and dancing!! 80-90 students needed. Signup by May 5. Info meeting for those signed up is May 6 during Silas Period.
  • Dad's Day Breakfast - April 28: Former NFL lineman and BCHS alum Zach Martin will be the speaker. Don't forget to remind your Dad (and/or mom, grandparent, etc.). Info & RSVP

Christian Service Opportunities

Area 1 Opportunities: Service to BCHS, Parish or Faith Community

  • Peer Tutor Club: If you are in National Honors Society/Spanish National Honors Society/SUMMA, need service hours, or just want to help your fellow classmates, then you can join the Peer Tutor Club! Fill out the survey! Someone from Guidance will be in touch with you when someone is looking for a tutor. Sign up here
  • BCHS Mass Setup (each week): BCHS Campus Ministry could use help setting up for Mass each week. Meet in the main gym during Silas to help out and earn an Area 1 Service Hour!
  • Celebration of the Arts Set-Up: May 3: Lend a hand setting up for the Celebration of the Arts on Sunday, May 3rd from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and earn three Area 1 Service Hours! Meet in the Art Room at 10:00 am. Sign up here!

  • Free SAT, AP, and Math Tutoring via Schoolhouse.world for grades 8-12. Free tutoring for SATs, math courses, and Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Live small-group tutoring via Zoom will focus on SAT reading, writing, and math as well as AP course tutoring in calculus, statistics, chemistry, biology, physics, and computer science.
