Spare time? Borrow a book from the new Trojan Stacks -- currently located in the Student Life Center and Room 302, with more to come. Grab a book and keep it for as long as you need. Return to any Trojan Stack when you're finished. No sign outs or need to ask. What is Trojan Stacks?
  • Every Monday Meetings: Friendship Bracelet Club, Art Club: These meet every Monday, unless noted otherwise:
    • Friendship Bracelet Club Meeting -Will not meet this Monday, Jan. 12
    • Art Club Meeting - After school in Art Room A. There are lots of exciting opportunities this semester, including cafeteria murals and Valentine cards! All are welcome. For more information, see Mrs. Johnson.
  • Investment Club Meeting: Jan. 12 (Mon): 8 am in Room 310. See Mrs. Stoudt for more information.
  • Speech Team Practice: Jan. 12 (Mon) & Jan. 14 (Wed): After school in Room 306. Speech will practice on Mondays and Wednesdays this semester! See Ms. Fulton for more info.
  • Ski Club MANDATORY Meeting: Jan. 14 (Wed): After school in the Theater Room. If you signed up for Ski Club, you must attend this meeting. Details for outings and dues will be discussed. See Ms. Surinak or Mr. Knight for more info.
  • March For Life Callout: Jan. 15 (Thurs): After school in the Cafeteria. The March for Life will be held on Thursday, January 22. Come to this meeting to learn more! See Mr. Hilton with more info.
  • Investment Club Callout Meeting: Jan. 15 (Thurs) & Jan. 16 (Fri): 8am in Room 310. See Mrs. Stoudt for more information.
  • FLEX Schedule: Jan. 15 (Thurs) Following Period 6:
    • Freshmen: Class Mass. Report to your Flex Periods first.
    • Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors: Study Hall. Some students will receive passes from Mrs. Burkett to attend a 21st Century Scholars meeting in the Cafeteria; be on the lookout!

Area 1 Opportunities: Service to BCHS, Parish or Faith Community

  • Peer Tutor Club: If you are in National Honors Society/Spanish National Honors Society/SUMMA, need service hours, or just want to help your fellow classmates, then you can join the Peer Tutor Club! Fill out the survey! Someone from Guidance will be in touch with you when someone is looking for a tutor. Sign up here
  • St. Matthew's Church Opportunities: St. Matthew's could use your help. Contact Mrs. Pam Fleming (pfleming@saintmatt.org) if you are interested!
    • Confirmation Retreat: Feb. 7 - 11 am - 6 pm (Jrs & Srs only)
    • First Communion Retreat: Feb. 21 - 9 am - 11:30 am
    • Children’s Liturgy of the Word during the 9:30 am Mass
    • Shepherd's FLOCK, a program designed to help adults with developmental disabilities grow in their spiritual life. The group meets monthly on a rotating basis from 6:00 to 7:30 pm
  • IHM Sunday School Help: Immaculate Heart is looking for students to assist with their Sunday Family Faith (Sunday school) program. They meet on Sundays from 10:30-11:45. Contact Ms. Blandford (kblandford@ihmindy.org) for more info or to sign up!

  • Free SAT, AP, and Math Tutoring via Schoolhouse.world for grades 8-12. Free tutoring for SATs, math courses, and Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Live small-group tutoring via Zoom will focus on SAT reading, writing, and math as well as AP course tutoring in calculus, statistics, chemistry, biology, physics, and computer science.
