Everyone is always welcome to join in prayer during these times:
  • Nov. 18 (Tues): Reconciliation - during B and C lunch in the Campus Ministry office. Stop by during your lunch period!

  • Canned Food Drive is Nov. 17-20. Read canned foods needed and drop off directions
  • International Food Club Outing: Nov. 17 (Mon): Thanks to everyone who signed up! Meet at BCHS Door 10 at 4:45pm.
  • Latinos Unidos Meeting: Nov. 18 (Tues): 8am in Silas West. See Mrs. Arteaga for more info.
  • Black Student Union Meeting: Nov. 18 (Tues): 7:45 am in Room 103. See Mrs. Horan for more info.
  • Football Callout Meeting: Nov. 18 (Tues): 7:45am in the Aux Gym. This is for anyone interested in playing football next school year. See Mr. Odom for more info.
  • Pre-NCYC Party for those attending the Conference: Nov. 18 (Tues): 7:45 am in Silas East. Are you attending NCYC? Join Campus Ministry for a pre-NCYC party in the Silas East room on Tuesday before school! We'll have an opportunity to explore the week's schedule, build community, and prep for an awesome conference together! All NCYC participants are invited, no matter what parish you're attending with.
  • Mock Trial Practice: Nov. 19 (Wed): After school in Art Room A. You also have practice on Saturday from 9am-12pm. See Mrs. Johnson for more info.

Christian Service Opportunities

Area 1 Opportunities: Service to BCHS, Parish or Faith Community

  • Peer Tutor Club: If you are in National Honors Society/Spanish National Honors Society/SUMMA, need service hours, or just want to help your fellow classmates, then you can join the Peer Tutor Club! Fill out the survey! Someone from Guidance will be in touch with you when someone is looking for a tutor. Sign up here
  • St. Matthew's Church Opportunities: St. Matthew's could use your help for the following events and dates. Contact Mrs. Pam Fleming (pfleming@saintmatt.org) if you are interested!
    • Children’s Liturgy of the Word during the 9:30 am Mass
    • Shepherd's FLOCK, a program designed to help adults with developmental disabilities grow in their spiritual life. The group meets monthly on a rotating basis from 6:00 to 7:30 pm
    • Volleyball Tournament Help: Nov. 18, 19, 20. Sign Up Here
    Additionally, St. Matthew’s is in need of athletic department help. They need folks to run the concession stand, take tickets, keep score at basketball games and more. Contact Eddie Keever at eddiekeever@hotmail.com.
  • IHM Sunday School Help: Immaculate Heart is looking for students to assist with their Sunday Family Faith (Sunday school) program. They meet on Sundays from 10:30-11:45. Contact Ms. Blandford (kblandford@ihmindy.org) for more info or to sign up!

  • Free SAT, AP, and Math Tutoring via Schoolhouse.world for grades 8-12. Free tutoring for SATs, math courses, and Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Live small-group tutoring via Zoom will focus on SAT reading, writing, and math as well as AP course tutoring in calculus, statistics, chemistry, biology, physics, and computer science.
