All back-to-school documents and the PowerSchool electronic signature must be completed by August 4, 2021.

If you have any questions, need help, or do not have access to the internet, please email Ame’ Alerding, Guidance Assistant, at or 251-1451 ext. 2227.

    • School Picture Form
      (Download the form)

All students will have their school pictures taken during orientation and should bring their completed picture form with them, whether they are ordering a photo or not.
This form is needed to process the school IDs.
Any parent wishing to order photos may also do so using this form. Payment is required at the time photos are taken.

    • Trinity Club Parent Volunteer Form
      (Open the form)

Bishop Chatard has many volunteer opportunities for parents. Every family is automatically a member of the BCHS Trinity Club, a wonderful way to meet other parents while participating in the mission and success of Bishop Chatard. Use the link above to volunteer for an activity during the school year.

Indiana Choice Scholarship Program “State Voucher” applications must be completed by Aug. 15, 2021, in order to receive the state voucher for the 2021-2022 school year.

The BCHS business office must have your 2020 tax return as soon as possible, in order to process any financial aid or Indiana Choice Scholarship applications. Even though the IRS allows an extension to file until October 15, the State of Indiana does not recognize that for the purpose of the choice scholarships. If you qualify for a choice scholarship but do not comply with the timeline and miss the window, the difference will not be made up in direct BCHS aid.

Contact Karen Feeney, Tuition Manager, if you have questions about the status of your account in regards to this rule at

Visit our Vouchers page for additional information and eligibility guidelines.

    BCHS Financial Aid
REMINDER: In order to receive any financial aid from Bishop Chatard, you must apply for financial aid through the BCHS FACTS financial aid. No financial aid will be awarded unless a FACTS application is complete.
Visit our FACTS FAQS PAGE for FACTS application and information.

    Tuition FACTS Payment Options
Below are the payment options available through FACTS:

    • Annually: One-time payment made by July 30; when paying by FACTS, cash, or check, receive a $200 discount.
    • Semi-Annually (FACTS): Semi-annual payments are made on July 5, 2021, and January 5, 2022.
      Quarterly (FACTS) – Quarterly payments are made on July 5, 2021; Oct. 5, 2021; Jan. 5, 2022; and April 5, 2022.

    • Ten Month (FACTS): Ten payments beginning in July 2021 and concluding in April 2022.
Some FACTS payment plans will not start until August and will run through May as the business office deals with the financial aid/Indiana Choice Scholarship program changes.

Families on FACTS payment plans: The BCHS Business office is still working on getting everyone’s plan up and running this year. Due to the significant changes to the Indiana Choice program, this is a much longer process this year. Many families will not start until August (but will get their full 10-month cycle). If you have not been set up for your normal first payment in July, we will get to you for August.

Free Breakfast & Lunch for EVERYONE this year

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has approved all schools to offer free lunch and breakfast ‘meal deals’ (where available) to ALL students, regardless of income, for the entire 2021-22 school year. This means students will receive their USDA ‘Meal Deal” for FREE this school year, no application involved.

There is no cost to set up an account and parents can monitor their student’s purchases. Deposits to the account can be made via cash, check or online. No payment is accepted at checkout. Please note: MyMealTime charges a 4.9% convenience fee for online deposits.

    Free/Reduced Meal Program Application

Even though breakfast/lunch ‘meal deals’ are free to all this year, we encourage any family who believes they are eligible for the Free/Reduced Meal Program to apply for the next school year. Additional benefits, like textbook assistance and some college fees, are available through the program. Applications need to be submitted each year for this program.

    • Each student must show proof of a valid driver’s license before a parking tag will be issued.
    • Students who successfully register will receive a parking tag on their orientation day.
